Getting Started

• Is the first consultation really free?

  Yes. The initial consultation is a free, no-obligation conversation — thirty private minutes to understand your hopes and answer your questions. There is no pressure to proceed.

• How is this different from a dating app or agency?

  We are a consultancy, not a platform. There is no database to browse and no catalogue of profiles. We review, guide and introduce — selectively and with discretion — toward genuine long-term outcomes.

• Who do you accept as clients?

  We work with serious, financially established men seeking companionship and family. Acceptance is selective, which protects the integrity of the process for everyone involved.

• What happens after the first consultation?

  If we agree to work together, we build your relationship profile, begin a considered candidate search, and guide you through matching, introductions and everything that follows.

About Heritage Union

• How long have you been operating?

  Heritage Union has just launched — and we'd rather you hear that directly from us than wonder about it. "Just launched" doesn't mean thrown together, though. Before opening publicly, James spent real time building the process, the relationship with Huyen and our network in Vietnam, and making sure candidate matching and introductions actually worked in practice, not just in theory. He'd rather start right than start fast.

• How many clients have you had?

  Honestly — we're early. Before this was ever a business, James helped two close friends through a very similar process: real conversations, real understanding of what they wanted, thoughtful introductions rather than random ones. Both found real, lasting relationships. That's not a large sample size, and we won't pretend otherwise — but it's the reason James believed in this enough to build a business around it. As a founding client, you get more direct time with James and Huyen than clients will once we've scaled. You're not a number in a system — you're one of the first people we're doing this for, properly and carefully.

The Process

• How long does the process typically take?

  Every client's timeline is different. We would rather take the time to find the right candidates than rush toward an introduction that isn't genuinely suitable.

• How many introductions will I receive?

  We introduce a small, carefully considered number of candidates rather than a large volume — quality and genuine compatibility matter more to us than quantity.

• Will I meet candidates in person?

  Yes. Relationships develop through guided conversation first, and a Vietnam visit is arranged when both of you are ready to meet in person.

• What if I'm not matched with anyone suitable?

  We would rather tell you honestly than force an introduction that isn't right. We continue the search, refine your profile, and stay in conversation with you throughout.

Candidates & Matching

• How are candidates matched?

  Both clients and candidates are carefully reviewed. Our local Vietnamese expertise allows us to assess intention, character and long-term compatibility before any introduction is made.

• Who are the women Heritage Union works with?

  Vietnamese women who are serious about building a genuine relationship and family, personally met and reviewed by Huyen — never sourced from an open database or directory.

• Can I speak with Huyen directly?

  Yes. Huyen is directly involved throughout your journey, particularly around candidate matching, cultural guidance and any visit to Vietnam.

Culture & Vietnam

• Why does Heritage Union focus on Vietnam?

  Our founder's own experience, together with Huyen's local expertise, is rooted in Vietnam, which allows us to offer a depth of cultural understanding and in-person candidate review we could not responsibly offer elsewhere.

• What cultural guidance do you provide?

  From family expectations and the role of parents, to communication style and the pace at which relationships typically develop — Huyen guides both sides through the parts that are easy to misread.

• Is my enquiry confidential?

  Entirely. Discretion is central to how we work — your details are never shared, and every conversation is held in strict confidence from the first word.

• Is Heritage Union open to clients outside the UK, US and Australia?

  Our primary markets are the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia. If you live elsewhere, get in touch — we're happy to discuss whether the process is a good fit.
